Folks, once again the entire collie community unites to assist collies in need. Some AWCA collie rescue equipment from the Montana rescue is already in Texas, including bathtubs, large hair blower, grooming equipment, and holding crates. AWCA Southern District Director Wayne Lewis will see that it gets where needed for the victims of the hurricane. Ten of our 10-ft Prefert holding pens have been freed from the Yolo County collie situation in California along with a few hundred of our stainless steel food pans and pails. Those of you needing to contain and feed dogs may apply to borrow them.
To apply to borrow this equipment and for assistance with veterinary bills and shelter fees for collies in need, contact AWCA Director of Rescue Megan Loe at firstname.lastname@example.org or Secretary Judy Cummings at email@example.com.
We send you our warmest and best wishes through this ordeal. Let us know what you need and we will try to do everything we can to help.
Jean Levitt, President
