BLANKETS

Folks, Camp Collie - Great Falls (CCGF) has responded with (“Whoops...Sorry!”) to our request to clarify the address to which they want BLANKETS sent.  They have made another change...this time in the Zip.  The correct address is: 

AWCA BLANKETS c/o CCGF, 4000 River Drive North, Great Falls, Mt. 59405. 

If you have already sent blankets, THANK YOU!  The Post office, UPS, and FedEx have been alerted.

Over 150 people have signed the volunteer application forms, and gone through the orientation at Camp Collie - Great Falls, according to Bob James, President of  Humane Society Foundation Board of Cascade County.  The animals are becoming adjusted to their new home, Linda Hughes, CCGF supervisor, and Director of HSCC tells us.  She has requested AWCA provide 10 additional pens to separate even more dogs.  They find they have plenty of room in the building to set up another row.  The AWCA Board of Directors has approved this expenditure.  Linda said, “The dogs are learning to enjoy the blankets as bedding, instead of playing with them.”
